Questions for Discussion:

Review of current research priorities

  • When forming research questions or exploring existing priorities, what aspects of inclusion and diversity within education should be considered?

Review of Literature in current priority areas

  • What important or newly emerging research in these areas should the Department be aware of?

Advise on related research questions: 

  • Based on the existing priorities and relevant literature, what specific research questions do you recommend pursuing?
    • Are there any gaps in the current research areas we are prioritizing?
  • What challenges or barriers do you foresee in conducting research on the identified priorities, and how might these challenges be addressed?

  • DESE's 2022 Research Priorities and Questions - This document outlines DESE's current research priorities and questions. Compare these to the state research agenda and consider areas of overlap and difference.
  • Review of New Website and Feedback Survey  Please take some time to review the RAC's new website and provide feedback via the online survey. Your input will help us improve the site.
