The Office of Economic Empowerment offers grants throughout the year to help organizations and schools that provide financial education programming and support OEE's wealth-building initiatives.

BabySteps Enrollment Hub Grant

The BabySteps Enrollment Hub Grant empowers community-serving organizations across Massachusetts to help families start saving for their children's future education.

Applications for the 2026 grant cycle will open on May 4, 2026 and close on June 15, 2026.

Financial Education Innovation Fund

Commonly known as the "Credit for Life" program.

High schools in Massachusetts can apply for funding to host a “Credit for Life” fair for their students. New fairs can receive up to $4,000, and existing fairs can receive up to $2,000 in funding.

Applications for the 2026-27 school year are now open and will close on October 23, 2026 at 5 PM.

Operation Money Wise

Operation Money Wise is a grant opportunity for non-profit organizations, public agencies, and Massachusetts institutions of higher education to increase the scope of financial education for veterans, military personnel, and their families. 

Applications for the 2025 grant cycle will close on May 30, 2025 at 5:00 pm.
