Enrolling into MAVRIC

Guidance for data partners to enroll in the new MAVRIC (Massachusetts Vital Records Information Collaborative) electronic death registration system.

For All Data Partners

Data partners using the VIP system for death registration have had their profiles automatically migrated from VIP to MAVRIC and therefore are enrolled in MAVRIC. For data partners who have never used VIP (Vitals Information Partnership) or have not been active in that system, you will need to enroll in MAVRIC to complete a death registration. For MAVRIC enrollment questions, contact RVRSAccounts@mass.gov.

Training (Using TRAIN)

Regardless of MAVRIC enrollment status, all data partners are urged to become familiar with MAVRIC and the workflows for your role. You can find training information in TRAIN, the state’s e-learning platform.​
