Governor Healey has directed a whole-of-government approach to pursuing unprecedented federal funding opportunities created by the Inflation Reduction Act, the CHIPS and Science Act, and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Close coordination between state agencies, cities, towns, Tribes, and regional partners secured more than $9 billion in new federal grants to modernize infrastructure, improve transportation, expand broadband access, strengthen the economy, and spur innovation across every region of Massachusetts.
