  • Workers can access good jobs, unlocking a better quality of life and more financial stability.

Preparing English language learners for the workplace

3,000 - 3,500  new training places over the next 2 years

$10M funded workforce training programs to unlock job opportunities for English language learners. Tailored training programs help Massachusetts residents gain the skills they need for high-demand jobs – in healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, and more – alongside English language instruction.

“We have employers across Massachusetts who need skilled talent to fill open positions. Connecting workers with training programs and English classes will make sure they have the skills that employers are looking for in today’s economy.”
