Family Child Care license capacity increase upgrade

If you are currently a licensed Family Child Care provider and you want to increase the number of children that you can care for in your home, you need to upgrade your license.

What you need

If you are currently a licensed Family Child Care provider of a certified Family Child Care assistant and you want to care for more children (up to 10 children), you must apply for a capacity increase in your license or upgrade your certificate. To do so you must submit an application to your licensor.

Take the training and complete the application

You will need about 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete this training. You can complete the training all in one session, or stop at any point and finish the training later. You can repeat slides at any time by hovering your mouse over the bottom left corner of your screen and clicking on the left arrow. If you want to print the presentation with the narration text, print the notes version of the presentation.

When you finish the training, you need to print out the last 4 slides and answer the 15 questions. You need to submit your answers with your application for capacity increase.
