How to get involved with the Massachusetts Women Veterans Network

Women Veterans Network Collaborative (WVNC)

The Women Veterans Network Collaborative (WVNC) is a professional group that provides support to women veterans across the Commonwealth. Formerly the WVN Steering Committee, those interested in serving on the WVN Collaborative are asked to complete an application. Members meet in a hybrid format on a quarterly basis (January, April, July, October) for up to 90 minutes. The term limit is for one-year. The meetings provide opportunities for members to share information and ideas, address any concerns, and explore volunteer opportunities. Members are also asked to volunteer for the WVN Annual Conference and Deborah Sampson Award nomination process.

Governor's Advisory Committee on Women Veterans

The WVAC swearing in

Aligning with Chapter 115, Section 2 of M.G.L., the Governor and the Secretary of the Executive Office of Veterans Services have appointed the Advisory Committee on Women Veterans (WVAC), which consists of 16 appointed members. This commitment highlights the dedication of the Healey-Driscoll Administration to promote the interests of women veterans, ensuring their needs and rights are prioritized and advocated for within the state.
