Home- and Community-Based Services Waiver Renewal and Amendment Applications: Public Input Process

How the public input process for HCBS waiver renewal and amendment applications work

Home- and Community- Based Services (HCBS) waivers are typically approved for a five-year period. They must then be renewed with the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). During the five-year period, changes must be submitted to CMS in the form of a Request for an Amendment. This webpage contains information about waivers MassHealth is currently renewing and/or amending with CMS. Please see below for links to the waiver renewal and/or amendment applications and information about how to provide feedback on the applications to MassHealth.
