Kevin joined MassDOT in May 2023 as a summer intern in the Construction Compliance and Cultural Resources Units before joining the Wetlands and Water Resources Unit as a co-op in August 2023. He completed his Master’s Degree in Environmental Science and Policy at Northeastern University, graduating in December 2023, and joined MassDOT full-time in January 2024 as an Environmental Analyst with the Wetlands and Water Resources Unit. In July 2025 Kevin transitioned to the role of Wetlands Scientist, remaining with the Wetlands and Water Resources Unit.
At MassDOT, Kevin works on wetlands and water resource permitting for MassDOT linear projects within the construction advertisement program. He assists with reviewing projects and permit applications to ensure they meet regulatory requirements. While doing so, he looks for opportunities to avoid, minimize, and mitigate impacts to the environment. His favorite aspect of the role has been developing sustainable transportation projects for Massachusetts residents, particularly developing Shared Use Paths and increasing climate resilient infrastructure.
In his free time Kevin enjoys spending time with his friends and family (and his dog). His hobbies include running, hiking, skiing, and reading science fiction.
