The Board's purpose is to represent, every class of agricultural knowledge in the state. The Board's Chair is by Frederick (Skip) Vadnais with membership comprised of farmers and members of the public with broad geographic representation. The Board's purpose is to represent the interests of agriculture to the Department and provide input on policy development and budgetary decisions. The Board consists of thirteen members, nine of whom shall be farmers.
