Massachusetts Educator Discounts

Find educator discounts (across early education and care and K-12) at many of the Commonwealth’s museums, cultural institutions, and businesses.

Through Governor Healey's Inter-Agency Early Education and Child Care Task Force, the Executive Office of Education (EOE) has partnered with the Mass Cultural Council (MCC) and the Executive Office of Economic Development (EOED) to launch this directory of educator discounts to support the state’s dedicated educational professionals across early education and care and K-12 education.

These discounts were not independently verified by EOE, MCC, or EOED, but were posted as shared by the organizations; please contact the organizations directly with any questions about the discounts offered.

Verify educators for discounts

There are several ways organizations can verify if someone is an education professional. Identification/verification requirements vary by organization, and may include:

  • Official state license/credential (e.g., Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) license, EEC Professional Educator Registration ID)
  • School/program ID badge
  • Union affiliation card (e.g., Massachusetts Teachers Association (MTA) card)
  • Pay stub
  • School email

Find resources from the State Ethics Commission

Public employees, including public school educators, may not accept any gift (including a discount) worth $50 or more that is given because of their position. Learn more about Gifts to Public School Teachers and Staff. Educators can also contact the State Ethics Commission to request advice regarding the acceptance of discounts or other gifts.
