The Town Halls layer stores the location of primary municipal executive offices in Massachusetts, including town and city halls. The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) GIS Program in cooperation with the Regional Planning Agencies and participating communities developed the original version of this data layer. MassGIS revised the data using its master address database in spring 2017. Points were adjusted to fall atop building locations.

The layer is named TOWNHALLS_PT_MEMA.

Attributes

The layer's point attribute table contains the following fields:

NAME  Name of facility

ADDRESS   Street address

CITY   City or town name

ZIP   5-digit ZIP Code

ADDRESS_POINT_ID   Point identifier from MassGIS' master address database

Maintenance

MassGIS maintains the data as part of its master address database.
