Program description:
SCALE offers educational and wraparound supports and provides for Out-of-School youth ages 16-24 with a focus on academics, career and workforce exploration and healing-centered leadership programming. Each youth will co-create their individualized Education/Career Plan with their Education & Career Advisor. Depending on their needs, the youth might enter one or more of the following track: English Language Learner (ELL) classes, High School Equivalency classes (English or Spanish), ParaEducator Training class, Digital Literacy, Financial Literacy, Introduction to the IT Landscape, CNA pathways, College & Career Readiness, Intro to Entrepreneurship.

Program description:
As an in-school youth provider, YWCA Worksmart program focuses on serving in-school youth in Malden and provide them with school dropout prevention services, tutoring and literacy support, while focusing on work readiness, job shadowing, employers' sessions, and work experiences that coincide with classroom obligations and align with students' needs.
Program description: The YWCA of Malden will offer year round programming for in-school youth, ages 14-21. This program, WorkSmart, will provide career and job preparedness services to students of Malden High School, primarily those in the high school’s Teen Parenting Program, but also youth who are at risk of dropping out of school because they are homeless or about to become homeless.
