Program Description:
Students take classes to reach personal and career goals, and to prepare for a High School Equivalency exam such as the GED or HiSET. Reading, writing, and math classes are available at different levels, including beginning literacy (reading) and beginning numeracy (math). All Catholic Charities ABE classes are currently offered during the hours of 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and are available to anyone 16 years and older with at least an intermediate level of English proficiency.  Programs are located in South Boston, Dorchester, and Lynn.

Program Description:
YouthBuild is a workforce development program for young adults ages 16 to 24, who receive hands-on, individualized support, education, training, career readiness, and life coaching. Through YouthBuild, young people work towards their High School Equivalency Diploma, learn job skills, and become certified pre-apprentice level construction workers, certified nursing assistants, or ServSafe-certified culinary professionals

Program Description:
COMPASS Youth Program is a safe and flexible program designed to help out-of-school young adults ages 16 to 24 pass the HiSET/GED, or High School Equivalency Test. The program tackles challenges and barriers that students may have experienced and supports them with one-on-one counseling, tutoring, college and job preparation, career counseling, and life skills coaching. We can also connect students to opportunities for paid internships, job shadowing, and employment
