Mike joined MassDOT in May 2022 as an Environmental Analyst in MassDOT’s MEPA/NEPA unit. As a 2020 Massachusetts Maritime Academy graduate with a degree in Marine Science, Safety, and Environmental Protection, Mike has worked in the private and public sector. Before his time at MassDOT, Mike worked in ecological studies, water quality, and safety.
In his work with MassDOT’s MEPA/NEPA unit, Mike prepares/edits environmental documentation related to the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act (MEPA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). He also conducts reviews on project design submittals for avoidance, minimization, and mitigation measures to environmental resources, and identifies environmental permitting requirements at the state and federal levels.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys exercising, hiking, skiing, and spending time with friends and family.
