Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a disease that disrupts the nervous system by interfering with the flow of information between the brain and body. The symptoms can be unpredictable, and differ among patients. MS may affect a person’s vision, sensation of touch, strength, and coordination, or present other challenges.
Because there is no single test for MS, diagnosis can be difficult. Treatment may include medication and physical therapy, but results vary.
