Election Date: Friday, December 4, 2026
Time: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
Place: Retirement Office 2nd Floor

Purpose
To elect the 2nd Elected Member of the Chicopee Retirement Board accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 32, 840 CMR 7.00.
Term of Office
Effective December 19, 2026 to December 18, 2029
Stipend
Board members receive an annual stipend of $4,500.00.
Candidates/Nomination Papers
Members in service and retirees of the Chicopee Contributory Retirement System may qualify as a candidate by filing with the Chicopee Retirement Office a nomination paper or papers containing the signature and address of at least twenty (20) members or retirees of the Chicopee Contributory Retirement System.
Nomination papers are available at the Chicopee Retirement Office and are due no later than 5:00 pm on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
Absentee Ballots
Ballots will be mailed to all retirees. All ballots received by the Chicopee Retirement Office must be postmarked no later than 6:00 pm on December 4, 2026. Any ballots received after 6:00 pm or a later date do not qualify.
