RE: NOTICE OF ELECTION

Election:

An election, by mail, will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026.  All members in service, members inactive and retirees are eligible to vote.  On Friday, April 24, 2026, voting ballots with instructions will be mailed to the current address on file with the Falmouth Retirement System. 

Purpose:

To elect the Second Elected Member of the Falmouth Retirement Board in accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 32 and 840 CMR 7.00.

Term of Office:

A three-year term beginning May 26, 2026 and running through May 25, 2029.

Candidates:

Any member-in-service or retiree of the Falmouth Retirement System is eligible to be a candidate.

Nomination Papers:

Any member in service or retiree of the Falmouth Retirement System may qualify as a candidate by filing, with the office of the Falmouth Retirement System, a nomination paper or papers containing both the signature and address of at least twenty (20) members in service and/or retirees of the Falmouth Retirement System.  Nomination papers may be obtained at the following:

The nomination paper must be filed on or before 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2026.
