Purpose:
To elect the Fourth Member of the Marblehead Retirement Board in accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 32, 840 CMR 7.00
Term of Office:
October l , 2026 — September 30, 2029
Candidates:
Any active or retired member is eligible to serve as an elected member of the Marblehead Retirement System. Individuals receiving non-contributory pensions or individuals receiving survivor benefits are not eligible to participate in the election process.
Nomination Papers:
Any eligible member may qualify as a candidate by filing with the Marblehead Retirement Board a nomination paper containing the signatures and addresses of at least twenty (20) members of the Marblehead Contributory Retirement System. Nomination papers are now available and may be obtained at the Marblehead Retirement Office. The last day to submit nomination papers is Monday, September 14, 2026.
Absentee Ballots:
Available to all members. All retired members will be mailed an absentee ballot on September 15, 2026.
All absentee ballots must be received no later than 5:30 PM on the day of the election.
