The term of your Medford Retirement Board Employee Representative, Patrick H. Ripley, expires on June 30, 2026.  Nomination papers are open for the election of this position, for a term of three (3) years from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2029.    

Any member in service or any person retired from the Medford Retirement System is eligible to be a candidate for this office and to vote in the election.  Candidates may be nominated by obtaining signatures and addresses of twenty (20) members in service and/or retirees in the retirement system.  

The Following is the schedule relative to the election of the employee representatives of the Medford Retirement System 

MARCH 16, 2026 – MONDAY @ 8:30am
Nomination papers will be available at the Medford Retirement System Office, Medford City Hall, Room 215. Mon, Tues & Thurs, from 8:30am- 4:30pm, Wed 8:30am -7:30pm & Fri 8:30am-12:30pm (in the event a member is unable to pick up his/her nomination papers in person, a “letter of authorization” will be accepted).
MAY 1, 2026 – FRIDAY @ 12:30pmMAY 4, 2026 – MONDAY @ 9:00am
Last day to return nomination papers to the 
Medford Retirement System, Medford City Hall, Room 215.
Drawing for placement of candidates’ names on the ballot will take place in the office of the Medford Retirement System at which time the rules and regulations will be explained to candidates.
JUNE 15, 2026 – MONDAY @ 4:30pmJUNE 16, 2026 – TUESDAY @ 8:45am
All ballots must be received by 4:30pm and postmarked no later than Monday, June 15, 2026.The ballots will be counted on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 8:45am at the Medford Retirement Office, 
Medford City Hall, Room 215.

Voting for the employee representative will be by mail 
All active and retired members will receive a ballot by mail
