Notice of Election:
Election Date: Monday, December 7, 2026
Purpose:
To elect the third and fourth members of the Stoneham Retirement Board in accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 32, 840 CMR 7:00 and Section 57 of Chapter 306 of the Acts of 1996.
Term of Office:
Effective December 16, 2026 through December 15, 2029.
Candidates:
Members in service and retirees of the Stoneham Retirement System, with the exception of those receiving survivor benefits.
Nomination Papers:
Any member or retiree of the Stoneham Retirement System, except as noted above, may qualify as a candidate by filing with the Stoneham Retirement Board a nomination paper or papers containing the signatures and addresses of at least twenty (20) members or retirees of the Stoneham Retirement System.

The last day to submit nomination papers is:
Friday, October 23, 2026 by 12:00 PM
Ballots:
Ballots will be mailed to all eligible active members, inactive members, and retired members by the Stoneham Retirement System. All ballots will need to be mailed back to the retirement office or post marked, no later than December 7, 2026.
