The Westfield Contributory Retirement Board is holding an election for the 2nd Elected Member of the Retirement Board on December 15, 2026. This election will be in the Retirement Board Office, City Hall, Room B-13 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The term of office will be three (3) years beginning December 30, 2026, and ending December 29, 2029. The seat includes a $3,000 annual stipend.
Nomination Papers are available from the Retirement Board Office and must be completed and returned to the Retirement Board Office by Friday, October 30, 2026, at 4:00 pm for those wishing to run. Please email: Liam.Browne@cityofwestfield.org for Papers or request at the phone number above.
Members may request an absentee ballot in writing at least 7 business days before the election if:
- Will be absent from the city where the polling place is located during the hours it will be open: OR
- Will be unable to cast his or her vote in person on the day of the election for reasons of religious belief: OR 3-Will be unable to cast his or her vote in person at the polling place by reason of a medical condition
Retirees may vote by Absentee Ballot or in person on the day of the election. Retirees will be mailed an absentee ballot automatically.
Absentee ballots must be received no later than the time fixed for the closing of the polls on the day of the election.
