Project: Unified Recovery and Monitoring Program – A New Alternative-to-Discipline Recovery Program

Organization: Bureau of Health Professions Licensure

The student may work on a project(s) relating to the establishment of the new URAMP program, including but not limited to participant element data mining, development of policies relating to clinical matters, definition of social determinants and readiness for program participants, formation of evaluation assessment bundles, development of URAMP communications materials for a variety of stakeholders and possible case management assistance. The student will have the opportunity to be involved in a number of significant areas relating to public health, including but not limited to licensing, public health policy, public safety in a healthcare context, public health care law and administration, healthcare and mental health care professions (including in the interface of health professions with clinical care and occupational health, etc.) 

Skills Required: Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Some practical or theoretical clinical experience is preferred, particularly in the mental health field and/or law fields. Some use or familiarity with statistical tools such as SPSS, R, Tableau.
Technology Required: Laptop
Work Arrangement: Hybrid​​​​​​​
Hours Per Week: 18 hours per week, with opportunity for more​​​​​​​
Preferred Eligibility: Final year undergraduates, Masters degree and/or Doctoral students
Preferred Academic Experience: Social work, nursing, medicine, epidemiology, policy, pre-law and law, communications, data science.
