Regional STEM Networks

Massachusetts Regional STEM Networks serve as hubs for educators, community leaders and industry partners to create STEM opportunities for students.

Massachusetts STEM Networks

Each network is managed by an executive director and housed in either an institution of higher education or a regional employment board. Created in 2004, they are managed by the Department of Higher Education under the direction of the STEM Advisory Council, the networks play a key role in cultivating interest and engagement in STEM activities in their regions and implementing the priorities of the STEM Advisory Council, including Massachusetts Annual STEM Week.

In addition to administering regional projects, the Networks regularly communicate information about funding opportunities, events, announcements, and training sessions.
