This program provides funding to District Attorneys and Massachusetts State Police to fund community safety programs and activities.

The Office of Grants and Research (OGR) is offering federal funding from the Edward J. Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program for District Attorney’s Offices and the Massachusetts State Police to address community-based criminal activity related to gang violence, illegal firearms and narcotics use and distribution during the summer and fall months when activity is at its peak.

Eligibility

Only a Massachusetts District Attorney’s Office and the Massachusetts State Police are eligible to apply.
