ASL and CART Services


ASL and CART services are available for the SRC Quarterly meetings upon request with a minimum of three weeks’ notice, although more is preferred to ensure coverage.

To request American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation or Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) for an upcoming State Rehabilitation Council (SRC) meeting, please email your request to MRC.StateRehabCouncil@MassMail.State.MA.Us

Within your email, please include the following:

·       Label the subject line as “ASL request” or “CART request”.

·       Provide your name, email address, and phone number.

·       Specify the meeting date for which you are requesting the service.

·       Confirm the service (ASL or CART) you are requesting.

·       If you need a CDI (certified deaf interpreter) as well as an ASL interpreter, please indicate that in your request.

We kindly ask that you send your request at least three weeks prior to the meeting to help us ensure we can make the necessary arrangements. More notice is welcome and preferred when possible. When submitting requests for a CDI and ASL interpreter, please provide as much notice as you can.

Very important: If your plans change, please email us to cancel your ASL or CART request as soon as possible.
