Stacey joined MassDOT in 2004 after completing her Master of Science degree in Historic Preservation at the University of Pennsylvania. Stacey previously worked for the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities (now Historic New England) supporting the administration of preservation restrictions. In her work with MassDOT, Stacey reviews projects for compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 as well as other federal and state historic preservation laws and regulations. Stacey is part of the team that worked on the rehabilitation of the Longfellow Bridge and appreciated the opportunity to take part in the careful rehabilitation and restoration of such a landmark structure.
In her free time, Stacey enjoys traveling, baking, and skiing.
