Set the stage

Project photos will typically be used for evaluation, analysis, press, and outreach to highlight the funding program. Set yourself up for success by determining the best location to highlight your project. A well-captured before photo will act as a good comparison for the completed project.

Lights, camera, action

Be mindful of the composition and framing of photos so an effective comparison can be made. Take photos during the day in good lighting and try to capture the image with people using the infrastructure. Avoid people's faces or ask for consent to be featured.
