Final completion

We are pleased to announce that the Richmond Street Bridge Preservation Project reached the Final Completion milestone in January 2026. Crews have completed all bridge and roadway repairs as part of this project.

Roadway and sidewalks fully reopened

On the evening of Tuesday, August 26, crews completed paving operations on Richmond Street, allowing the roadway and sidewalks to fully reopen for Full Beneficial Use. This concludes the major roadway work on the surface of the Richmond Street Bridge.
