Overview
Final construction activities are in progress. Occasional intermittent single lane closures will be in effect throughout the project area as needed for crews to complete final construction activities including final landscaping and sidewalk paving. These closures may be in effect during the hours of 7 AM to 5 PM and 8PM to 5 AM, 7 days a week, through completion of the project. Access to Route 79 Northbound and Southbound will be maintained unless otherwise notified.
Weather and unexpected circumstances make all construction activities subject to change without notice, but we will do our best to keep you updated.
Full beneficial use milestone of the Route 79-Davol corridor
MassDOT has announced that the Route 79- Davol Street Corridor Improvements project has reached full beneficial use as of February 2026. All roadways along the Route 79- Davol Corridor are now in their final configuration and are accessible to drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists.
