Overview
Construction activities are in progress. Intermittent single lane closures will be in effect throughout the project area as needed for crews to complete final construction activities. These closures will be in effect during the hours of 7 AM to 5 PM and 8 PM to 5 AM, 7 days a week, through completion of the project. Access to Route 79 Northbound and Southbound will be maintained unless otherwise notified.
Weather and unexpected circumstances make all construction activities subject to change without notice, but we will do our best to keep you updated.
Final configuration of Davol Street northbound between Turner Street and President Avenue is now in place
MassDOT has implemented the final configuration of Davol Street Northbound between Turner Street and President Avenue. The new configuration will shift traffic traveling on Davol Street Northbound slightly west beginning August 15. Traffic will then continue north on Davol Street Northbound.
Lindsey Street final configuration is now in place
MassDOT has implemented the final configuration for Lindsey Street. This configuration will only allow vehicles to travel one-way northbound, traffic will no longer be able to travel southbound on Lindsey Street. Additionally, the right turn from Route 79 northbound to Brownell Street is permanently closed.
