Look-ahead – July 21, 2025 – August 8, 2025

Travel Impacts

Over the next three weeks, drivers should expect lane narrowing on the bridge. As work impacts sidewalk access, a detour redirecting pedestrians will be in place.

Operations

Over the next three weeks, the Contractor will be working daytime hours at the West Roxbury Parkway Bridge. Work will take place Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM. Operations will include:

  • Test pits in the roadway
  • Clearing brush
  • Installing tree protections

Overall Project Status

The Contractor is preparing the work zone for the start of construction.

Travel tips

Please take care to pay attention to all signage as it is posted. Police details, changes in lane markings, temporary controls such as barriers and traffic cones, signage, and other tools will be used throughout the project to control traffic and create safe work zones within the project limits.
