Vanessa was the loving daughter of Vincent and Karen Masucci. She was older sister to Angela and Joe. She loved sports as she excelled in Softball and Basketball. Her Family and friends have helped in caring and keeping in touch with her daughter Adrianna. There is a tournament in Vanessa’s name which gives a Lynn student a scholarship. Adrianna throws out the first pitch every year. Vanessa had to work 2 jobs as money kept disappearing thanks to her husband and his drugs.

She worked at Spinelli’s for a short time. Somebody wrote “I had the opportunity to meet a very nice young lady at my grand nieces baptism luncheon last week. She was our server at the restaurant we were at. She was so sweet and personable and in between servings, would stop and chat with all of us, especially the kids. She was wonderful with my mother in law,and would get her whatever she wanted without question. Even boxed up food for Nonna to take home with her. She was a teacher too, second grade, and the mom of a one year old little girl. I only met her for those few hours last Sunday, but she made an impression in my mind. So much so when I saw her picture today that she had been murdered by her husband, in her own home, I felt suddenly ill. I didn’t even know her name. I do now. Its Vanessa. And I’m sad and angry that this happened to this sweet girl. Her baby girl will never know her mother. Vanessa will never have the opportunity to see her daughter grow up. She was only 30. Life is just so unfair."
