  1. Why should a business certify? 

    VRB certified businesses will learn how valuable a veteran employee is to their organization and will receive a certificate to display their support for veterans and military families.

  2.  Who can complete this process? 

    Any business registered in Massachusetts can apply for this certification. We recommend that a senior-level human resource professional guide this process.  

  3. How does VRB support hiring more veterans? 

    Certified businesses are notified of veteran hiring events and receive a veteran employee resource sheet. EOVS will also notify veterans of VRB employment opportunities.

  4. How are businesses notified of veteran hiring events? 

    EOVS will notify businesses of upcoming veterans employment events throughout the year via email. We encourage VRB certified businesses to attend at least one hiring event a year. 

  5. Is there a cost associated with this program? 

    No.

  6. How often do businesses need to certify? 

    Employers must certify once every two years.
