MOVA Victim Services Data Dashboard: Introduction
MOVA’s Victim Services Data Dashboard reflects data collected from MOVA-funded organizations across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Over 100+ victim service organizations provide support, advocacy, healing, and safety services to victims and survivors of crime. This information is represented in the data below and is filterable by grant type, date, and county.
The tables and charts below reflect data collected beginning in July 2022 (State Fiscal Year 2023). Each MOVA-funded organization reports aggregate information on grant-funded activities quarterly.

Data Dashboard Filter Key
- Grant Type: The Grant Type filter allows users to view data by grant type. MOVA administers several different types of grants. Grants may target specific populations or service types.
- State Fiscal Year: The State Fiscal Year (FY) filter allows users to view data by fiscal year. The Massachusetts State Fiscal Year begins July 1st and ends June 30th.
- State Fiscal Quarter: The State Fiscal Quarter (Q) filter allows users to view data by fiscal year quarter. The fiscal year quarters are Q1: July 1 – September 30, Q2: October 1 – December 31, Q3: January 1 – March 31, and Q4: April 1 – June 30.
- County: The County filter allows users to view data by county. The county is based on the location of the funded organization. Organizations that provide services throughout the state are categorized as Statewide.
