Tips for accessible social media:

  1. Add alt text to all images.
  2. Capitalize the first letter of each word in hashtags so screen readers will pronounce them correctly. Example: #WhiteCaneLaw
  3. Use descriptive hyperlink text instead of “click here.”
  4. Don’t overuse GIFs. They are not accessible for many users.
