Facilities
Station A-5, SP Revere, situated on Revere Beach Boulevard, faces the United States' oldest public beach. Constructed in 1899, this facility initially served as a Metropolitan Police Station before transitioning into the State Police barracks system in 1992 as H-2 Revere. Following a troop realignment, it shifted from Troop H to Troop A, receiving the new designation A-5 Revere. This station is tasked with patrolling the coastal towns along the Atlantic Ocean, from East Boston to the Swampscott line, spanning an area of over 27 square miles in five cities and towns. This includes overseeing the heavily trafficked Route 1 corridor from the Tobin Bridge to Copeland Circle in Revere. The area boasts recreational spots such as Belle Isle, Rumney Marsh, skating rinks, boating areas, ball fields, and O'Malley Park, nestled beneath the Tobin Bridge.
