Management Certificate Program (MCP)

The Management Certificate Program is available ONLY to Executive Department managers in M99 titles.

Offered once per year, this intensive program includes a mix of virtual and in-person sessions. This program is designed for self-motivated managers who are looking to enhance their leadership and managerial skills and are dedicated to successful mission of their agency and secretariat. Participants will have an opportunity to engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and network with talented colleagues from across the Executive Department.

In addition to 12 required sessions over eight months, participants are also required to attend a program orientation as well as complete and present an impactful project related to the work at their agency. Participants can expect approximately 7.5 hours of training per month, plus time needed to work on their project. This program is available ONLY to Executive Department managers in an M99 position; managers must apply to be admitted. Each year applications open during the summer and the program runs from early fall to late spring.
