Management Certificate Program (MCP)

The purpose of the Management Certificate Program is to equip managers in the public service sector with the essential competencies necessary to excel as leaders, drive organizational effectiveness, and positively impact the communities they serve. This program is designed for self-motivated managers who are looking to enhance their leadership and managerial skills and are dedicated to the successful mission of their agency and secretariat. Offered once per year, this intensive program includes a mix of virtual and in-person sessions. Participants will have an opportunity to engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and network with talented colleagues from across the Executive Department. 

To participate in this program, managers must apply and be admitted. Each year applications open during the summer and the program runs from early fall to late spring. Participants can expect 7.5 hours of work per month.
