Massachusetts Advisory Council on Alzheimer’s Disease and All Other Dementias

The Massachusetts Advisory Council on Alzheimer’s Disease and All Other Dementias was established in August 2018 with the enactment of Chapter 220 of the Acts of 2018.

The Council is charged with advising the Executive Office of Health and Human Services and the Legislature on Alzheimer’s disease policy. The Council is chaired by Whitney Moyer, Chief Operating Officer at the Executive Office of Aging & Independence (AGE), acting as the designee of the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The Council meets regularly and is comprised of a diverse panel of public health professionals, researchers, health care providers, legislators, dementia advocates, and caregivers.
