MAVRIC and Your Role

MAVRIC is the new state system for the processing of birth, death, marriage, divorce, fetal death and other vital events.

The new Massachusetts Vital Records Information Collaborative (MAVRIC) death registration system will go live on June 2nd 2025. This modernized and enhanced system for all authorized registration and data partners replaces the existing Vitals Information Partnership (VIP) system for death registrations.​​

Fetal death and birth registrations will go live in MAVRIC in 2026.
