Mission and History of the Garden

The Garden of Peace started as a dream of families of homicide victims.

The Garden of Peace became a reality because of the vision, dedication, and generosity of a coalition of homicide survivors, violence prevention and victim service providers, the business community, and elected officials. The video below about the Garden’s origins was shown at the 2018 Victims Rights Conference, when the former Garden of Peace non-profit was honored.
