News  A Celebration and Awards event will be held to recognize participants of the 2024 Cultural Appreciation Week

An awards celebration for the Cultural Proficiency Champions, also referred to as Champions will be held at MTOC. Supreme Judicial Court Associate Justice Dalila Wendlandt will serve as guest speaker.

An Awards Ceremony will be held to recognize Champions, also referred to as Cultural Proficiency Champions, and participants of the 2024 Cultural Appreciation Week at the Massachusetts Probation Service Training and Operations Center (MTOC) on Friday, January 31, beginning at 10 am.

Supreme Judicial Court Associate Justice Dalila Wendlandt will serve as the guest speaker. Massachusetts Trial Court Administrator Thomas Ambrosino and Probation Commissioner Pamerson Ifill will also provide remarks. Northampton District Court Court Officer I Thomas Bolden will sing "The National Anthem." A Northampton-based theatre group, The Performance Project: First Generation Ensemble, will also perform. Champions will also be invited to share their "Insights and Retrospective."

"We are excited to recognize the Champions for all of their great work during Cultural Appreciation Week and celebrate us all coming together in a way that is reflective of our theme: "Diverse Threads, One Tapestry: The Strength of Connections."
