AllWays Health Partners will become Mass General Brigham Health Plan on January 1, 2023. AllWays will send GIC members new ID cards reflecting their new name later in 2022, in advance of the January 1, 2023 effective date. There is nothing GIC members need to do as a result of this news. AllWays sent GIC members who are currently enrolled in an AllWays plan a letter explaining the name change on the week of November 6th, 2022.
Since this name change is happening in the middle of the GIC plan year, July 1, 2022 - June 30, 2023, you will continue to see references to AllWays in GIC web content, communications, forms, and systems. The GIC will be updating digital and print member materials with new information in preparation for the spring 2023 Annual Enrollment period.
Mass General Brigham Health Plan will continue to be referred to as AllWays until July 1, 2023. New hires or existing members that have a qualifying event and would like to enroll in an AllWays plan can do so using the MyGICLink Member Benefits Portal. You also have the option to use GIC Online Forms and GIC Print Forms. We will continue to keep you up to date should any additional changes arise.
