Press Release  Anderson enters not guilty plea on a drug charge

Pittsfield — A Springfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on a drug charge.  22 year old AKEEM S. ANDERSON (72 Kenyon Street) appeared before Judge Maureen Hogan.

ANDERSON had a not guilty plea entered on his behalf on one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE.  Judge Hogan released him on $500 bail.            

The charge stems from a motor vehicle stop, in Pittsfield, on January 31, 2018.       

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and State Troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
