PittsfieldBerkshire District Attorney Paul J. Caccaviello announced that Kyle G. Christensen is this year’s recipient of the Massachusetts District Attorneys Association Spotlight Award.

Assistant District Attorney Christensen, who joined the Office in 2014, received the award at a ceremony held at the Annual Massachusetts Prosecutor's Conference.  The Spotlight Award recognizes excellence, and Christensen was nominated by District Attorney Caccaviello and his colleagues for his hard work, diligence and teamwork as an Assistant District Attorney in the Berkshire District Courts.

In announcing Christensen as the Spotlight Award winner, District Attorney Caccaviello said, “Kyle is a student of the law and has a thoughtful approach to issues that come his way.  He has distinguished himself for his work in narcotic cases particularly in the Drug Court, as well as his appellate work in matters dealing with juveniles.  He is a deserving recipient and I was glad to shine a spotlight on his work.”

The Spotlight Award is given annually to an assistant district attorney from each District Attorney’s Office in recognition of their outstanding service, spirit, and professionalism.
