Press Release  Auditor Bump Announces New Communications and External Affairs Staff Member

Boston — State Auditor Suzanne Bump announced today that Alicia Bandy has joined her staff as Deputy Auditor of Communications and External Affairs. In this role, Alicia joins Auditor Bump’s senior leadership team and will direct the office’s community outreach, legislative affairs, and communication efforts. 

“I am greatly enthusiastic about Alicia joining our staff and applying her fresh energy, professional experience, and strategic vision to the office’s larger goal of making government work better,” said Auditor Bump.

“Auditor Bump's office plays an important role in making sure that government works efficiently and effectively, and I am excited to be part of that effort," said Bandy. 

Previously, Alicia was an Account Supervisor and Senior Public Affairs Specialist at the strategic communication firm Solomon McCown & Company. Within the state government, Alicia served as Legislative Director for former state senator Stephen Brewer and as a District Aide in the Florida Legislature. Alicia is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and earned a Master of Science in Political Science degree from Suffolk University
