The Lawrence District Court Probation Department lit up with support on April 2nd as we celebrated Autism Awareness Day, an annual tradition close to our hearts. Whether it's the people we work alongside or those we serve, we proudly stand with everyone impacted by autism.

Each year, PO Susan Tevnan keeps the spirit strong by handing out Autism Awareness infinity pins, which many of our Probation staff proudly wear all year long. It’s a small symbol with a big message: inclusion, acceptance, and unity.

This year, we embraced the #REDinstead movement by wearing red.

Associate Probation Officer Danielle DuBois began the wonderful tradition of transforming the board each month into a "Diversity Board," highlighting different awareness themes throughout the year. It’s a vibrant way to educate, celebrate, and promote inclusion one month at a time!
