On July 21, 2025, the community came together for Big Nick’s Ride for the Fallen XVI, an annual tribute that began in 2009 to honor Corporal Nicholas G. Xiarhos. Over the past sixteen years, the event has grown into a powerful commemoration of sixteen fallen Cape Cod heroes.
The day was marked by the roar of hundreds of motorcycles, the sight of American flags waving proudly, and thousands of supporters lining the streets of Cape Cod. The unity and turnout reflected the ride’s enduring spirit—Faith, Family, Friends, Flag, Freedom, Forever.
More than just a memorial ride, the event served as a heartfelt promise that the service and sacrifice of these heroes will always be remembered and honored.
