Bristol Superior Court Probation staff participated in the "Thumbs Up," event where they joined other local agencies in welcoming students at three Fall River Public Schools back to class. The children were in kindergarten through fifth grade.

The event took place on August 28th at the John J. Doran, Henry Lord, and the Alfred S. Letourneau Elementary Schools.

Among the Bristol Superior Probation staff who participated were First Assistant Chief Probation Officer (FACPO) Vincent Godwin, Assistant Chief Probation Officers (ACPO) Ana Dias and Lynette Etienne, and Probation Officer (PO) Antonio Rodrigues.

This is the first time the department participated in this event and it won't be the last, according to Bristol Superior Chief Probation Officer Robert Blackburn.
