PITTSFIELD — A North Adams man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on drug charges.  41 year old WILLIAM R. BURDICK III (26 Temple Street) appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

BURDICK had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of TRAFFICKING IN FENTANYL and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: TRAFFICKING IN FENTANYL.   Judge Agostini released him on $2,500 bail.        

The charges stem from a motor vehicle stop in Lanesborough on September 13, 2018. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Lanesborough, North Adams and Dalton Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
