Press Release  Carr pleads guilty, sent to jail

PITTSFIELD — A Bronx, New York man pleaded guilty this morning in Berkshire Superior Court to drug charges.  29 year old DUANE CARR appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

CARR pleaded guilty to one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF OXYCODONE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and one (1) count of DISTRIBUTION OF OXYCODONE.  Judge Agostini ordered that he serve concurrent 2 year sentences to the Berkshire County House of Correction.           

The charges stem from a motor vehicle stop in Pittsfield on February 22, 2016.     

The investigation was conducted by members of the Dalton Police Department, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
